Friday the 23.....

This Friday (yesterday) all credo went to Crows Neck near Tishamingo. When we got there we had a class on teamwork. First we had to all get on a square and had to get to the last square by teamwork and brains. Then, we all had to get in alphabetical order by our middle names and we were stand on a long boaur that was almost a foot off the ground. and we could not step off the board.... it sounds confusing but it was lots of fun! OK! i saved the best for last! there is this tall box (taller than my head) that everyone has to fit into! it was very cramped in there!!!!!!!!! after we left my family went to a Ole Miss (SO COOL) baseball game! we got there at 6:30 and the game started at 7:00. We stood out in the rain for 3 hours and after that, the game was canceled... well... this morning my mom and were going to walk te 5k walk they were having and then go to the double Decker festival but it was ALL canceled!! AHHHHHHH!!!!! well! it was still a (fairly) fun night!!!!!!!

For spring break I went to washington D.C. with my aunt, uncle, and cousins, Emma(7) and mary(4). Ok,Ok,Ok, I know this a late post but i dont really do a very good job of keeping this thing up-dated so...well.. here it is*(finally)! Anyway~ we left sunday night at 8:00 and drove all night... I think it was the longest drive of my life!!! :) We saw every monument and historical place in D.C. and walked our legs off. It was SO much fun... Except the pushing 2 strolers aroung the place... It is bigger than you think... But it was all worth it :) Everything seamed huge compaired to what you see in pictures and things. Exept the White House. That thing it TINEY!!!!!!! :) We came back home Friday and got back at about 11:00 pm. It was blue skys and

Saturday Night....

Ok.. last Saturday afternoon / night we went to the Gunells recital!!! They were SO GOOD!!!!! so, anyway... Everyone went to a coffee shop named Joe Joe's Coffee and Tea after the recital(that was awesome!!). Everyone Had SO much fun!!! we satyed until like 9:30.... I think... Anyway, There were a lot of people i knew!!!! I met a lot of people too!!!! ( i LOVE to find new friends!! the more the merrier!!!) Sarah, hannah, Richard, & maggie were SO GOOD!!! i could listen for HOURS!!!! COOL!!! haha!! i say that a lot!!! hahaha!!! (there i go again! sorry!!!)

MCYC

this weekend i went to MCYC!!!!! It is short for Mississippi christian youth convention. It is in Macon, Ms. at a camp called LFR. (lake forest ranch) SO MUCH FUN!!!!! There were classes you could go to, a band, free time, and a speaker.
The speakers name was Dusty Frizzle. He was SO GOOD!!!!! he kept you listening by only telling part of a story and then saying that he would come back to it!!!!!!
It got aggravating...... The them was LOVE and the main verse was Isiah 49:13 ( i think!!!) it is my new favorite!!!!!!!!! well, g2g!!!!!!

Cooking

Here are a few of my favorite recipes. they are SO easy but i love them!!!!!!
I hope you do too!!!!~

Muffins~
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1/3 cup canola oil
1 3/4 cum blueberry's or chocolate chips.

what to do~
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder,salt and sugar.
Put in blueberries or chocolate chips and mix until coated.
add wet ingredients and mix.
divide mix into muffin pans and bake for 18-20 minutes.


Banana nut bread ~
1 box yellow cake mix.
Small box of instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup milk.
1 cup mashed banana
1 chopped pecans

What you do~

Mix everything together in a large bowl. and bake for one hour in a 350 degree oven.

I was just going to share my art project idea with you!
I just took an old canvas and painted it red. Then outlined a cross and filled it in using torn paper. Well OK..... I will admit that is not what i did...... I messed up. (That is why they call me Gracie!!!) I just tried to do a cross without outlining it and it did NOT work. It was off center. WAY off center!!!!!!
But if you try it that is what you need to do!!!!!

Snow!!!Snow!!!!!!
It was snowing!!!!! We played in it all day!!!
It is still in our backyard and every time i see it it surprises me!
We did not have co-op Friday so we played a LOT more!!!!!!!
My dog Daisy and my new cat Miley LOVED it!!!!
I wish we could have had a big snowball fight with friends but i was still happy with what i got!!!!!!
